Fleet Environmental Office Operations Support

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
-Must have expert understanding of exercise scheduling requirements including airspace, sea-space, and support assets
- Demonstrate detailed understanding of the execution and flow of integrated training and large-force exercises, training instrumentation systems, and exercise reconstruction; must be familiar with ongoing operational data collection efforts.
-Staff experience in USN Fleet training, operational planning and exercise implementation highly desired (i.e. Fleet HQ, numbered fleet, type commander, strike force training, FACSFAC staffs).
-Experience in encroachment, environmental and other range sustainment issues that can affect mission readiness desired.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/BACKGROUND:
BA/BS degree required, preferably in engineering, physical science or environmental fields of study. Must be at least a prior active duty Navy Chief Petty Officer, Warrant Officer or Limited Duty Officer. Operational aviation, surface, subsurface or amphibious warfare experience is required. Active SECRET security clearance required. Successful candidate must be able to obtain Top Secret if required.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: Candidate will be responsible for the supervision and management of various projects, which entail design and analysis of electrical systems, equipment, and drawing packages. He/She will conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs. Will direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication. Candidate will determine methods and procedures to be used on new assignments and will serve in a lead role and provide guidance to personnel. He/She will recommend changes to team policies and contribute to the development of the organization's goals and objectives. Candidate will routinely interact with outside customers and functional peer groups.

Education/Experience Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) with a minimum GPA of 3.5 (on a 4 point scale) with at least five (5) years of direct experience with electrical / mechanical systems in a formal DoD environment are strictly required. Candidate must have proven management experience working in a face paced, high stress environment and solid track record in personnel leadership (i.e. specifically responsible for subordinates discipline / evaluations, not just lead a team of peers). Must be very capable of multi-tasking and working several complex and diverse tasks with simultaneous or near simultaneous deadlines in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Candidate must also be well organized, punctual, reliable, conscientious, and capable of managing resources and schedules which affect deadlines and fiscal health of a project with no compromise to the technical / engineering aspects. EDUCATION: Bachelors degree required and 8+ years or 12 years experience in lieu of degree.

REQUIRED SKILLS: At least five year direct functional testing experience. Deep expertise in test methodology, process, planning, and execution. Experience as a test lead or senior tester. Working knowledge and experience with SQL. Expertise in the configuration and execution of test scripts using either Rational Functional Tester or HP/Mercury Quality Center. Excellent inter-personal skills.

The candidate must also be able to pass the client's credit check and must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
