| The Homeland & Civilian Solutions BU has an immediate opening for a Sr. Applications Test Engineer. JOB DESCRIPTION: As a key member of the testing team, the candidate will be responsible for all aspects of application and integration testing. These responsibilities will include: test planning, test case and script development, manual and automated test execution, test activity reporting, and automated test configuration. Testing will include functional, regression and system integration. Additionally, the tester will be responsible for documenting all results and working closely with business analysts and developers to resolve any issues identified. The Sr. Tester will be expected to mentor junior staff and provide expertise on test process and execution best practices. EDUCATION: Bachelors degree required and 8+ years or 12 years experience in lieu of degree. REQUIRED SKILLS: At least five year direct functional testing experience. Deep expertise in test methodology, process, planning, and execution. Experience as a test lead or senior tester. Working knowledge and experience with SQL. Expertise in the configuration and execution of test scripts using either Rational Functional Tester or HP/Mercury Quality Center. Excellent inter-personal skills. The candidate must also be able to pass the client's credit check and must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. | ||||
