The position is to execute the Web based technology solutions in LSCA division of Agilent Technologies based in Gurgaon, India. This position will be responsible for working with internal partners to define requirements, schedules, and implementation/host solutions both for Extranet & Intranet. The candidate must be versed in the real life application of technology to support strategic business objectives. In addition, he/she must be able to identify, respond, solve and periodically escalate problems within Internet technology area as part of oversight of the daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall design and development of solution and converting business requirement into technical specifications.
- Responsible for training and giving presentation to business partners.
- Responsible for providing the support, maintenance of existing tools and new tool development in following technologies (ASP.Net, XML, JavaScript, SQL Server, and Crystal Reports)
- Database creation & administration.
- Creating & maintaining documentation.
- Providing support and maintenance, development of tools/applications in above technologies.
External Qualifications : - MCA/B.Tech in Computer Science.
- Requires a minimum of 5+ years of Web based project Implementation experience with at least 2 years of consulting/management experience with a track record of successfully integrating business processes and people.
- Understanding and experience in applying software development lifecycle in a complex, customer facing Web environment– preferably the Microsoft Development Framework.
- Working knowledge of information architecture, Internet Technologies a must: SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, .Net Framework, Web Services, Crystal Reports.
- Strong Project Management skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
- Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills.
- Demonstrated ability to capture and translate process requirements into a functional specification through use cases analysis.
- Familiarity with the application and integration of best practice web usability standards.
- Create baseline documentation and training materials, manage the document lifecycle and deliver training to global audiences.
- Troubleshoot and testing issues from end to end including data migration and release management to ensure a smooth implementation experience.
