SR TECH LEAD
An experienced .NET technical lead is required on the team to work on the development of new versions of the PLATO 2 system. The role requires working closely with the technical architects based in London on the project and provide technical leadership to the team of developers in Mumbai. The role also requires participation in peer reviews and in implementation estimation.
Development tasks on the project cover back-end (stored procedures, OLAP cube definition), application layers (distributed C#) and front end ASP forms.
The person will be based in India, but will work in a team of developers located in Mumbai and London. The role also involves some overseas travel.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Mandatory:
Excellent .NET development skills including ASP.NET and C# (Preferably 7+ years)
Experience of system development for distributed systems
Strong design experience and understanding of core OO principles
Experience of continuous integration and automated testing practices
RDBMS experience (preferably Sybase ASE or SQL Server)
Experience in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server - 2007 including deployment, versioning and creating custom workflows
Knowledge of .NET 3.5 including Windows Communication Foundation and Workflow Foundation
Knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services
Knowledge of Sybase IQ
Experience with off-shore development teams
Experience of working in an Investment Bank IT department
7 â€" 8 Years of work experience
Conduct requirement analysis, transmit high level design to detail level design for the team of developers. Ability to work in offshore development model.
