SAIC is looking for IT Security Engineers to staff several projects with federal civilian customers like the USDA, DHS, ICE, FEMA, EPA and SEC. We are looking for security engineering expertise to support the planning, development, implementation, and compliance monitoring for of FS enterprise-wide security programs. Activities may include: performing analysis to ensure security controls are consistently implemented, integrating new technology with IT security standards, developing and executing plans for monitoring, assessing and verifying security controls across all major information systems, and developing, evaluating, and exercising IT survivability and contingency plans. Other Specific areas of IT Security expertise needed include: * Security Program Guidance and Management * Security Documentation Management and Program Governance * Oversight and Compliance verification * Regulatory and Legislative Analysis * Risk Management Framework and Strategy * Information Security Program Plan ning * Verify compliance with OMB Circular A-123. * Vulnerability Scanning and Auditing * IT Security Support to FS Data Center Migration * Contingency Plan Development and Evaluation * Contingency Plan Exercise and Training * Certification and Accreditation Coordination and Major * Information System Inventory Development and Maintenance * Security Implementation, Monitoring, and Reporting * Information Security Outreach, Awareness, and Training * Program Support to the FS IT Security Program. * Security Program Assessment (PRISMA) Support * Centralized Account Management Support * Evaluate IT procurement approval requests for technical approval to determine security risks and implications of new IT procurement. * Vulnerability Analysis and Scanning * IT Security Process Improvement Education: BS/BA Degree or equivalent years of experience required. | ||||
