Description: SQL Server Developer (Analyst Programmer) with exposure to VB, ASP, .Net etc required to take responsibility for all of the technical aspects of development across this business based in Slough, Berkshire (nr Buckinghamshire/Middlesex). This is a lead technical role and as such we are looking for someone who can demonstrate end to end system delivery. We don't want someone who is used to working on a production line, what we need is someone who has often been called upon to be the sole technical resource on development projects someone who might not know everything but can always find it out! Technically you must have strong MS SQL Server (ideally some 2005) including T-SQL and DTS as well as a breadth of development experience with VB6 and at least two of the following;.Net, ASP, HTML, XML, Javascript. Any experience of working as a DBA or exposure to Oracle would also be useful. This is a fantastic
Greenfield opportunity to be in right at the start of a major development programme that will be based around primary line of business applications, the Intranet Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Web Services. Salary is likely to be in the region of £40, 000 but with it comes a package to attract the best. There is the potential of a car allowance, 10% pension contribution, medical insurance and a bonus scheme of between 0 and 40%!!
