Description: Senior.NET Developer / Principal Consultant - £65K London. A great opportunity to join a dynamic and genuinely forward thinking and pioneering software consultancy. 95% of their clients are based in central London, so you can expect to be working in and around the capital. You will have either:
1. a strong track-record in delivering systems within the Microsoft framework, including at least two years of delivering large scale solutions within the.NET architecture. In addition, you will have experience developing in one other OO language(ideally), with Java/J2EE a major advantage. or
2.a track record of delivering systems within the Java/J2EE framework including exposure to delivering enterprise level systems. Any exposure or experience with the.NET framework You will be working primarily as a Lead Developer, with the responsibility of presenting software architectures to Management. Key tasks will include: - Project Delivery: the day to day responsibility for technical aspects of a project, both internally and at client sites - Successful delivery of each development release project -Team Lead: technical leadership within (usually) a small team. This will / may include an element of technical mentoring, work allocation etc Your Experience should over: - 5+ years IT development experience from a delivery perspective.
-Experience in either.NET development and or Java/J2EE development.
- Any team leading experience is a plus. - Strong OO skills (eg fromJava or C++) - Experience of Oracle and Tibco would be a benefit
- Experience of working within an agile / iterative environment (Agile, Scrum, XP, DSDM, RUP) - Rigorous attention to detail.
- Graduate level education. - Passionate technologist, keen to see own ideas / concepts implemented.
