- Strong Generic Java and JavaEE skills on Java 5/6
- Java-CMS competencies relevant to Day - JCR, OSGi and Apache Sling,
RESTful Architecture
- Web Content Management Expertise in general and which specific CMS
packages they have worked with (Vignette/Jahia/Fatwire)
. Mastery of all core web technologies including XML, XHTML,
client/server-side scripting languages such as Javascript, and JSP,
and web services development using Restful implementations.
. Deep understanding of Java, Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag libraries,
and JSTL skills, combined with a strong understanding of Enterprise
Java frameworks such as spring and Hibernate.
. Deep understanding of and hands-on development experience with
relevant "Java CMS" frameworks including Apache Sling for
content-centric application development, JCR and JSR-170 / JSR-283 for
Content Management, JSR-168 and JSR-286 for Portal development, and
Apache Felix for OSGi bundle development.
. Minimum experience of 4 to 10 years with 1 years of content
management system experience working with one or more CMS packages.
