Job Responsibilities
ABAP: Consultant
Should have worked on Interactive and Classical reports, ABAP Query, Report painter.
Experience on developing Interfaces using BAPI, RFC, IDOC, EDI and ALE technologies is necessary.
Should have worked on Data Conversion using BCD, LSMW, CATT, ABAP Workbench BDLR.
Conversant with Performance Analysis using SQL Trace, Code Inspector SCI, Runtime Analysis, Code review, functionality testing. Should have knowledge of using OSS notes
Dialog programming knowledge of Screen design, Data Dictionary, ABAP objects, Classes, Methods, Interfaces, Events, object oriented programming, Screen painter and Menu painter.
Should have worked on Forms - SAP script and Smart forms.
ABAP development in assigned modules particularly with SAP user exits, interface development tool, and reporting.
Business knowledge of Materials Management, Sales & Distribution, AP, AR areas of Finance. Good understanding of the standard SAP tables-relations with knowledge about one or more of standard SAP module(s) ( FICO , SD,MM)
Optional:
Should have worked on development interfaces on XI/PI environment. Should possess strong SQL, PL/SQL skills.
Analyze business processes to create SAP technical specifications; Use SAP PI (middleware) for creation of Data Types, Message Types, Message Interfaces (Inbound, Outbound, and Abstract Interfaces), Create Message Mapping, and XSLT Mapping.
Should have good understanding of Change Management process in a typical SOX-compliant development environment.
