Job location: Mumbai (Ex Bombay)
Job Description:
- This is a GUI lead developer position for IT รข€" Trading team of Morgan Stanley Advantage Services. Candidate will be part of the global IT Team
- The team works on global projects for IT. The team has specific focus to support the Asia business
- The candidate may have to lead a small team of UI developers to own the UI applications for trading and order management systems used in Morgan Stanley business
- This is a hands-on role and involves no people management activities on an immediate basis
Desired Candidate Profile:
- The candidate should have 8 years experience with design and development in C# .NET, ASP .NET, Flex and/or similar Rich Internet Application technologies.
- The candidate needs to be comfortable working in the Windows environment
- The candidate should have an aptitude to understand complex trading systems and good problem solving abilities. Experience of leading and mentoring a small team is required
- Excellent C# .NET, WPF, ASP .NET development experience
- Good knowledge of OO design and development
- Experience in investment banking industry, sales and trading technology
- Excellent communication skills are essential, together with ability to work in a team, due to the global nature of the group
- Experience of server side development would be beneficial
