Join our global team developing internal applications used by our product development groups to manage our software releases. We are seeking to identify an entry level C# ASP.NET Applications Developer to supplement our team. The position offers growth opportunities as well as the ability to travel to Melbourne, Australia on a regular basis.
We are seeking a candidate who is familiar with C# web development technologies as well as sound knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Knowledge of the jQuery framework, AJAX and SQL are useful. Along with strong analytical skills, the position also requires the ability to interact with users to help solve technical issues.
Responsibilities:
Initially the position will focus on administration, maintenance and implementing test automation for our R&D business systems. In time this position will expand into designing, developing and implementing new systems. Additionally the position will require working hours to be slightly offset (9-10am start time) to overlap working hours in Melbourne Australia, once working more independently these hours may change.
Technical Requirements:
•1+ years experience coding C#/ASP.NET development;
•Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript;
•Familiarity with SQL Server;
•Experience with Visual Studio;
•Familiarity with Internet Information Services (IIS);
•Strong analytical skills.
Nice to Have:
•Familiarity with jQuery and AJAX;
•Source Control Management (StarTeam) usage;
•Test Automation experience;
•Agile programming;
Other Requirements:
•Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience;
•Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
