Designation : Sr Associate
Experience : 5 - 8 yrs
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
Participates in requirement gathering and design sessions and creates necessary requirement artifacts based on the guidelines
Provides inputs and designs application modules under direction of a Senior Developer /Track Lead or an Architect.
Writes application code to meet expected quality standards by conforming to the steps of doneness defined by the project.
Participates in technical walkthroughs/ code reviews of other team members components, test plans and results and help them with gaps
Works with Track leads or the Architect to create mid level and low level plans for the modules they own or are working on
Identifies & escalates issues that might delay the work. Reports progress and issues to the track lead/ Manager in a timely manner. In particular, to relay issues that might impact on quality or the ability to deliver to timescales or estimates
Creates, maintains and updates the design documentation for the modules he/she is responsible for
Participates in client meetings when required, and provide inputs and ask relevant questions during both the design and implementation phases.
MUST HAVE
2-4 years of experience in portal design, configuration, tuning, installation, development &/or implementation.
Extensive experience configuring web parts, Windows SharePoint Services.
Experience developing portal strategies for MS SharePoint platform. Direct experience with SharePoint 2007 solutions is preferred.
Minimum 2 years development experience in Java/Javascript. Experience with .NET technologies including ASP.NET, VB.NET, C# and extensive experience with SQL Server 2005.
Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
