Responsibilities:
• Initiate new products and product enhancements to meet existing or anticipated market needs.
• Determine product specifications and document in a Product Requirements Document (PRD).
• Initiate and prioritize projects within engineering; track product development; develop product launch plans.
• Engage closely with the engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule.
• Work with a cross-functional internal team (e.g. sales, client services, marketing, legal, etc.) to gather customer feedback and ensure smooth and successful launches.
• Establish short and long term product goals and strategies.
• 7 years experience in e-commerce products
• Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
• Very good oral and written communication skills and ability to talk to USA&EMEA teams on a daily basis
• Demonstrated experience shipping products (concept to launch).
• Strong understanding of user needs in India and an innovative history of addressing them.
• Market knowledge of Internet-related industries.
• Excellent organizational skills including the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Strong Project Management background in working with a diverse team of engineers, web designers and business development team to launch products on time.
• Self starter who can quickly contribute with little or no direction
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills for identifying market opportunities
• Out of the box thinker
• Aggressive, results-driven orientation
• Should be open to travel extensively.
• Some familiarity with creating User Interface documents/wireframes
• Experience with internationalization and localization is a major plus
• Experience with working in EMEA markets is a big plus
