Summary:
This position will be responsible for application programming activities relating to software design, development and support. To fulfill this role, the programmer/analyst will:
Responsibilities
- Provide software application development support
- Participate in high and low level design activities
- Write and perform unit testing
- Adhere to industry and Client's coding standards
- Interact with the user community on system and requirement issues
- Work with limited supervision while providing constant feedback on project status and deadlines
- Function as part of a highly collaborative team
- Provide Tier 3 development support for existing applications
Requirements:
Candidate must be self-motivated and be able to work well in a team environment demonstrating proven leadership skills. Candidate must have the ability to deliver a top quality product in a timely fashion while leading teams of varied backgrounds.
- Minimum 4-8 years experience in application programming
- Experience in C#, Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET, SQL, Client-Side JavaScript, and HTML
- Experience with XML and Web Services preferred
- Experience developing multi-tier Internet/Intranet applications
- Demonstrated analytic and design capabilities
- Working knowledge of database design
- Experience with Oracle or SQL Server a plus
- Ability to communicate in English both written and verbal
- Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Fast learner, quality consciousness and committed to deadlines
- Highly effective communicator via email & telephone
- Experience working in a multinational development team
Education:
BS CS, BS CE or equivalent degree in Computer Science and Engineering related discipline. (Advanced degree a plus)
