We are looking for an experienced Web Developer for a current Web redesign project. The ideal candidate will be extremely well versed in manually creating and editing XHTML for Web pages. Prior Content Management System experience, preferably SiteCore CMS, is required. Prior CMS experience should be not only as an end-user, but as a technician as well. The ideal candidate will also be an expert in accessibility-related issues and solutions. Best practices for Web Development are to be used at all times. The ideal candidate will also be an expert in Cascading Style Sheets and table-less design. Duties include, but not limited-to:
Properly formatting semantic XHTML for Web pages
Applying inline CSS
Optimizing Web pages for Search Engines
Checking Web pages for Accessibility issues and resolving Accessibility issues
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience in hand-coding XHTML
Minimum 5 years experience in hand-coding HTML
Minimum 3 Years experience with a Content Management System
Minimum 5 years experience with Cascading Style Sheets
Experience using SiteCore Content Management System as a technician
Ability to create and edit graphics using Adobe Photoshop
Familiarity with .Net framework, .ASP and C# programming, as well as JavaScript/jQuery
