| Job Description
| Lead a team of consultants/developers in delivering technical solutions Clarify application requirements and complete/review the functional design, hand-over and coordinate the on and off site technical design and development activities Understand advanced UML diagrams and guide implementation of code accordingly Create and understand design and delivery documents & follow approved life cycle methodologies in accordance with SDLC standards Understand and maintain existing code and re-factor code to new architecture if required Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation Understand and manage defect tracking Be responsible for quality control, acceptance and project closure Review code base of developers Deliver code adhering to best practices and performance requirements and guide team to follow code quality standards and guidelines Deliver code base which are easy to maintain and debug Should be able to interact with onsite/offshore team on a continuous basis and provide inputs, code reviews etc Providing support for production issues

Solid knowledge of Java/J2EE Development Broad knowledge of software industry and technology Understanding of defect tracking, project management or wikis Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Must have worked as technical lead on a project for a minimum of 12 months Possess outstanding communication skills, ability to take initiative and responsibility, thoroughness, attention to detail, and an unrelenting demand for the highest of quality standards. Knowledge A minimum of 4 years Object Orientated Programming. A minimum of 4 years Java A minimum of 4 year in JSP/Servlet/Struts A minimum of 3 year in EJB including EJB 3/JPA A minimum of 3 year in UML diagrams A minimum of 4 years using a relational database- Oracle/MySQL/MS SQL/DB2 A minimum of 2 years experience in using any application server A minimum of 1 years experience in hibernate or any similar ORM tool A minimum of 6 months experience in spring A minimum of 6 months experience in XML parsing/XSL/JAXB A minimum of 1 year experience in design patterns- creational/behavioral/structural patterns as well as J2EE patterns Preferable experience in advanced Spring Preferable experience in JSF/Struts2.0/Seam Preferable experience in SOA/Web services/ESB
