Senior Business Analyst SAP Solution Management

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Senior Business Analyst plays an essential role in identifying, recommending and

safeguarding new and innovative business opportunities which secure short and long term

business success in terms of increased sales, adoption as well as mind- and market-share of

SAP Business User and Platform solution offering. The ability to effectively analyze data from

various sources and communicate such analysis on an executive level is critical to the success

of this role.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Analyze business performance in order to identify and recommend new and innovative business

opportunities for SAP

's solution portfolio

Track and analyze quantitative business performance information for markets, products and

competitors

Identify and leverage buying behavior patterns as well as cross- and up sell opportunities

Synergize all available quantitative information in order to recommend new business

opportunities

Define and monitor KPI

's for business opportunities in order to initiate safeguarding measures

if necessary

Analyze new innovative sales distribution channels and provide a business plan on how to

conquer these

Knowledge of the applicable Market, trends, size, channels, competition and the ability to

effectively analyze them to make recommendations for Go-To-Market strategies

Develop global business plans to support various go-to-market strategies

Segment target markets and customer to reduce cost of sales for SAP Business User and

Platform solutions

Actively engage with all stakeholder in the Go-to-Market of a new business opportunity

Serve as a trusted advisor to market developers, solution architects, solution manager and

other key stakeholders.

Provide reliable information and insight to support targeted go-to-market programs

Rationalize and prove new product opportunities to build/emerge new markets

Apply knowledge of the applicable Market, trends, size, channels, competition for deriving

innovative go-to-market strategies

Drive business planning and budgeting for product portfolio - align yearly field execution plan

and budget

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Exceptional analytical skills

Exceptional communication skills and ability to formulate insights and opinions around

complex business problems to executive level

High capacity for creative thinking, problem solving, planning, time-management and
 
 

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in a software/high tech environment (i.e.

software company, vendor service firm, or internal software support for a client firm) in Product

Management, Sales or Marketing.
