Application Management Services: Provide complete operations services for application management, custom development, and business process outsourcing for clients. Develop the post implementation go-live support environment, construct the transition plan from the project team to the support team, and support and maintain the client applications and technology infrastructure
Java Architect
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Deloitte Consulting LLP is seeking a talented Java Architect to join our project team to design implementation services for our clients. This candidate will be a Java architect for the implementation of a new application. They will assist in the full life cycle of design and development including:
- Design and develop custom applications using standard coding practices and development methodology.
- Develop custom application framework using open source frameworks such as JSF, Spring, Hibernate, etc.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development team.
- Assist project manager in preparing time estimates and justification for assigned tasks.
- Integrate and interface multiple services and workflows
- Involve in performance tuning and system performance
- Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.
- Strong communications skills in both verbal and non-verbal
- Focused on customer service and attention to detail
Not only will candidates be joining a project team, they will be joining a team of resources dedicated to delivering client engagements from an off-site location focused on common tools, technologies, and methodologies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with design, analysis and development of web based applications
- BEA Web logic 9.X
- Oracle 9i/10g
- Apache, Servlet, JSP
EXPERIENCE:
- 8 years of experience with design, analysis and development of web based applications
- 3 years of experience with the BEA Web Logic 9.x
- 2 years of experience with the following database: Oracle 9i/10g
- 2 years of experience with the following: Apache, Servlet, JSP
PREFERENCES:
- Java Certified
- Public Sector Experience
