Position: Sr. Java Developer
Location: Orange County, CA- Near Irvine CA in Southern California
Length of Contract: 1 Yr+
The Consultant will be developing new functionality on company website along with design and development of internal applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful Consultants responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing solutions to meet requirements
- Providing feedback on solutions
- Ability to interact and co-operate with diverse teams to achieve successful project completion
- Desire to play with a diverse set of technologies
- Flexible and productive in a fast paced environment
for the resources, structures and cultural changes necessary to support the eBusiness architecture.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 or more years RECENT working experience with a Pharmaceutical/Biotech company
- 6 or more years in Java development (Eclipse, Maven, JUnit, JBoss, WebLogic, JAX-
- WS)
- Experience in an FDA validated environment
- An awareness of SOX compliance
- C++ experience
- XML experience
- 4 or more years experience in J2EE architecture and services (JMS, EJB, JNDI, JDBC)
- Experience with developing to Oracle databases and ORM (Hibernate, EJB3)
- Experience in designing distributed applications
- Development in a Linux and Windows environment
- Familiar with issues of portability and cross-platform development
- Able to formally document designs and implementations
Sound knowledge of software engineering practices, software architectures, OOD, and design patterns
