As a Senior Software Engineer in CA's ecoSoftware Division, you will
develop and deliver enterprise application software that can be made
available "On Premise" or "On Demand". Experienced developer with
commercial product development experience from concept to delivery for
multiple releases.
This position is responsible for design, develop and maintain software
applications for a product or family of products.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop code complex units/modules/products that meet
functional and business requirements on schedule.
• Perform unit testing.
• Fix bugs, add enhancements, and port software to other platforms.
• Assist quality assurance team by providing guidance to testers and
support personnel as needed to determine system problems.
• Need to co-ordinate with multiple teams across multiple locations.
Collaborate with quality assurance in creation of their test plans and
participate in reviews.
• Evaluate impact of software performance, and recommend changes to
software design team.
• Assist in strategic research and design as directed
Experience
6-8 years experience building commercial web based SaaS applications
Required Skills
Java, J2EE technologies ,Adobe Flex, Oracle DB , Fusion Charts,
SNMP/Network programming experience
Optional Skills:
Experience with data center automation/monitoring software ; Exposure
to hibernate and application frameworks like SEAM/Spring
This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or the
equivalent experience.
