Position: Dot Net Tech Lead
Exp: 7 to 9 yrs
Location: Bangalore

Job Description: Candidate should take responsibility and ownership for the analysis, design, coding, testing and status reporting of a work product. Delivery of module as per project plan and quality standards Drive SLA adherence within the team. Ensure error free deliverables by driving adherence to quality assurance norms and guidelines. Project / Process. Understand and translate requirements into design. Provide input on technical effort estimation to arrive at re sourcing plans. Track, monitor and report on SLAs, ensure variances are addressed or escalated. Provide remote technical support through problem analysis and assistance. Provide support for code-related problems and for routine, installation and usage questions. Do technical reviews of code and test plans created by team members. Participate in deployment, system testing, UAT (onsite and offshore).Engage in peer reviews during design, coding and testing. Ensure adherence to quality processes. Prepare implementation plans when moving a code to production. Perform system testing and monitoring. Contribute to process improvement initiatives (best practices, six sigma etc).Drive Knowledge Management process. Provide status reports to the onsite team. Measure schedule variations and also defect metrics related to the module. People / Team. Assign and monitor work done by the team. Mentor and guide team, coach team members based on their developmental needs. Conduct training through academy and induction of own team members. Enable knowledge sharing within and across teams

Mandatory Skill: Experience in DOT NET Framework 2.0, C# / VB.NET, ASP.NET & ADO.NET / DAO.NET (working with Databases). Experience in Application Server such as IIS & Visual Studio .NET IDE, databases such as MSSQL / MYSQL / ORACLE & Version control tools - VSS / CVS / SVN

Desire Skills:

1 Experience in methodologies such as Agile (RUP, XP, SCRUM, Iterative Development).
2 In depth knowledge and work experience with Asp.net, C#, XML, SQL Reporting (SSRS and SSIS), stored procedures and TSQL.
3 Experience in VS 2005 / VS 2008, .Net 3.5 and SQL Server 2005 / 2008.
4 Experience in designing multi-tier enterprise wide applications
5 Experience in design and architecture, OOAD, Design Patterns, UML etc.
6 Rich user interface design is a plus (i.e. using components such as Ajax technologies).
7 Database Designing & Modeling Experience is a must
8 Should be able to drive the technical initiatives independently and also work with the junior developers in implementing & executing.
9 Experience in VSS, SVN etc.
10 Ability to provide leadership in designing effective technical solutions.
11 Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
