Responsibilities :
Own architectural design for full projects or a large module of a project, enforcing GrapeCity's engineering excellence practices and drive high quality in all phases of development : Drive effort estimation for modules you will own and help create development plans, Lead coding and integration testing for modules you own, Drive design reviews and code reviews, mentor software engineers, Coordinate activities and milestones among development teams to achieve the project goals on time, Provide pre-sales support in doing technical research for client proposals, to enable sales team to respond to new leads, Proactively keep a tab on emerging technologies, evangelize and lead adoption throughout the teams
Requirements-
Extensive experience in Microsoft technologies - ASP.NET, Web Services, C# or VB.NET, SQL, Strong design, coding and debugging skills, Working knowledge of Microsoft design patterns, development best practices, application blocks, tools, Proficient in database schema (SPs/triggers) design, development and optimization, Should be able to estimate implementation efforts for small to mid-size projects and plan development tasks, Technically solid in - ASP.Net, SOAP Web Services, C#, or VB.Net, SQL, Good to have knowledge of Silverlight / WCF/ WWF/ MOSS.
