Position---Technical Analyst( Business Analyst)
Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5-7 years as experience in IT application definition, requirement specification, or development of telecom tools
· 5+ years experience in n-tier systems architecture
· 3+ years experience with Oracle (including ability to write SQL)
· Some experience in configuration of Business Intelligence or SLM applications.
· Must have a good working knowledge in both Window and Unix environments
Basic understanding of information systems in the telecommunications industry
Primary Focus & Responsibility:
· To Work with professional services on customer bids to build specific SLM solution, with emphasis on using the generic SLM dashboard.
- Perform gap analysis of specific requirement with standard offering
- Identify new data fields or new data sources that may be needed for individual presales requests
- Provide LOE to PS for customized dashboard requests for new RFP
- Initiate Time To Market (TTM) project to implement new data source feeds
- Publish functional specification for dashboard evolution
- Identify and manage key referential data required to ensure integrity of SLM dashboards
- Work closely with the Business Intelligence team to synchronize data from the DWH platform
- Work with individual data source owners when additional data fields are needed
- Build customer specific dashboards for Customer Service Managers and customers
- Interface with vendor to understand new features and upgrade plans
- Provide Level 3 application support
