Developer
· Experience of the full lifecycle of software development· Development of multi-tier distributed database applications.
· SQL and SQLserver database development.
· Solid (3 or more years) hands-on development experience in C#/.Net and VB 6.0 with COM/COM+
· Messaging
· Experience of SDLC, Configuration management e.g. Clearcase
· Software Architecture/Design patterns
Technical Design Writing
· Strong .Net Framework i.e. CLR, GC, Assemblies etc
· Strong SQL skills (preferably SQLServer, Sybase, or Oracle)
· Booch/UML modelling, OOA/OOD, Design Patterns
· Unix/Windows
Demonstrated success in assimilating business requirements and translating them into cost-effective solutions
Development will be done in C# .Net, VB, COM+, and SQL and on the Windows platform. Experience of multi-threaded programming and high performance system development and design would be advantageous.
The candidate will be expected to
- Develop changes in mainly in .Net, C#, Perl, SQL, VB, COM+,
- Work with staff globally on larger scale development projects (6 man months+).
- Design, document, implement, test, and release to the highest possible standard, with attention to detail
- Ensure that all developments within follow the firm's best practice, including appropriate use of SDLC+.
