As a Technical Solutions Engineer in Reliability, you ensure the reliability of our partner-facing products and services. With your understanding of the Internet and network architectures, you focus on designing and building a robust infrastructure and monitoring applications for Google’s partner network. You work closely with partners to resolve complex technical issues, managing the escalation of those issues as a part of our mission to provide superior service to our partners.

Requirements:
BA/BS in computer science or related technical degree, MS a plus.
5+ years industry experience in Internet software development.
Programming experience in C/C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python, and/or Perl.
Internet and network skills, including HTML, XML/XSLT, HTTP, SSL, DNS, TCP/IP.
Hands-on experience in UNIX or GNU/Linux system administration.
Working knowledge of relational database administration (MySQL preferred).
Industry experience in search engines, video, mobile, e-mail, telephony, or e-commerce a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
High energy, self-motivated, detail-oriented, analytical.
